Srushti Dehmukh was preparing to sit for UPSC in the 3rd year of her engineering diploma. After graduation, she started to wonder whether she could enjoy a career in engineering job. In the following years, she realized that her passion was in civil service and decided to pursue the field. Parents encouraged her to become civil servants and seek a career in public service. She remained motivated and determined to become an IAS Officer. In order to be a candidate for UPSC the candidate must put in more work. When she was preparing in her engineering courses, she used to also prepare different subjects in UPSC. Each day she allocated some time for preparation. In only one and a quarter months she studied for engineering examinations, and stayed away from any social interaction. She believes that focusing is essential to crack the government examination and be an official in the civil service. She aimed to pass this test on her first attempt and has put in lots of effort. Every day, she reads papers to stay up to date with the latest news. Additionally, she received a lot of support online by collecting studying materials as well as watching Rajya Sabha TV. IAS Srushti Deskmukh IAS Srushti Deskmukh wrote a book that was called, The Answer Writing manual. Each library across America has this book. It's a good book to IAS applicants who work hard for the test. Her husband is also known to regularly share information about them and their duties on their social media pages.
